Shipping & Delivery Policy

How we process, ship, and deliver orders across serviceable pin codes.

Last updated: 04 Nov 2025

This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains where we deliver, how long orders take to process and ship, how to track your parcel, and what to do if delivery issues occur. For returns, see our Returns & Refunds Policy and for terms of sale, see Terms & Conditions.

1) Serviceable Areas

We currently deliver to most pin codes in India. Certain remote areas (e.g., parts of North‑East, J&K, islands) may have extended timelines or may not be serviceable. Availability is shown at checkout after you enter your pin code.

2) Order Processing Time

  • Orders placed before 2:00 PM IST (Mon–Sat) are usually processed the same day.
  • Other orders process within 1–2 business days. Sundays and public holidays are excluded.

3) Shipping Methods & ETA

Delivery timelines depend on your pin code and selected method. ETAs shown at checkout are estimates and not guarantees. Typical timelines:

  • Metros: 1–3 business days
  • Tier‑2/3 Cities: 3–6 business days
  • Remote/Outlying: 5–9 business days

4) Carriers & Tracking

We ship via leading couriers. Your tracking link is sent by email/SMS and typically goes live after the first courier scan. You can also find tracking in My Orders when signed in.

5) Shipping Fees & Free Shipping

  • Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on weight/volumetric weight and destination.
  • Free shipping above ₹999 (exceptions may apply for bulky/fragile/remote‑area shipments).
  • Cash‑on‑Delivery (COD), where available, may attract an additional fee. COD limit: ₹300.

6) Split Shipments

Your order may arrive in multiple parcels with separate tracking IDs if fulfilled from different warehouses or third‑party dropship sellers.

7) Address Changes

Address changes are possible before dispatch only. After dispatch, changes may not be feasible due to courier constraints.

8) Delivery Attempts & Undeliverable Orders

Couriers usually make 2–3 attempts. If delivery fails, the parcel may be returned to origin (RTO). Re‑delivery can be arranged; additional shipping charges may apply.

9) Proof of Delivery / OTP

An OTP or signature may be required upon delivery. A family member, neighbour, or office mailroom may receive the parcel on your behalf unless the courier requires OTP from the recipient.

10) Risk & Title Transfer

Risk and title pass to you on delivery to your shipping address (as per courier proof of delivery/OTP logs).

11) Damages, Shortages & Wrong Items

  • Inspect the outer packaging on delivery. If tampered/damaged, you may refuse delivery or record an unboxing video.
  • Report issues within 48 hours with photos/video at connect@bythemom.com / 9582492250.
  • We’ll arrange replacements or refunds as per our Returns & Refunds Policy.

12) Pre‑orders, Backorders & Made‑to‑Order

Dispatch dates are indicative and may change. You can cancel before dispatch for a full refund. Partial shipments may occur.

13) Restricted/Heavy Items

Some categories may need extra handling time, special carriers, or floor‑delivery limitations (e.g., no‑lift buildings). We’ll inform you if applicable.

14) International Shipping (if applicable)

  • Import duties/taxes are typically borne by the buyer unless stated otherwise (DDU). DDP, where offered, includes duties.
  • Customs inspections can introduce delays outside our control.
  • Additional documentation may be required by customs authorities.

15) Public Holidays & Force Majeure

Weather events, strikes, lockdowns, peak‑season/festival constraints, and other force‑majeure events may delay deliveries.

16) Support

Understand What You Use

Clean Skincare FAQs

Understand clean beauty claims, ingredient transparency, product safety, and how to make more informed skincare choices.

Clean skincare generally refers to products formulated with a focus on ingredient transparency, safety, and conscious formulation choices. However, there is no single universally accepted definition of clean skincare, so it is important to check how each brand or retailer defines the term.

No. Clean skincare and natural skincare are not necessarily the same. A clean product may contain both naturally derived and carefully selected synthetic ingredients, while a natural product may focus mainly on ingredients sourced from plants, minerals, or other natural sources.

No. Organic skincare generally refers to products containing ingredients grown and processed according to organic standards. Clean skincare is a broader concept that may focus on ingredient transparency, formulation choices, safety, sustainability, or other criteria.

No. Everything around us, including water, plant oils, minerals, and botanical extracts, is made of chemicals. The term chemical-free is therefore scientifically inaccurate. A better approach is to understand which ingredients are used, why they are included, and whether they are suitable for your skin.

No. Synthetic ingredients are not automatically harmful, just as natural ingredients are not automatically safe. Ingredient safety depends on factors such as concentration, formulation, purity, intended use, and individual sensitivity.

Look for a complete ingredient list, clear product claims, transparent manufacturer information, relevant certifications where applicable, appropriate usage instructions, and explanations of why key ingredients are used. Avoid relying only on words such as clean, green, pure, or toxin-free.

Clean skincare formulations may include plant oils, botanical extracts, butters, clays, hydrosols, humectants, antioxidants, gentle surfactants, and carefully selected preservatives. The exact ingredients depend on the product type and intended function.

Not necessarily. Water-based skincare products generally require an effective preservation system to reduce the risk of microbial contamination. A properly formulated preservative can be important for product safety and stability.

Fragrance-free products may be preferable for people with sensitive or reactive skin, but fragrance itself is not automatically unsuitable for everyone. Essential oils and natural fragrances can also cause irritation in some individuals.

It can be, but the clean label alone does not guarantee suitability. Sensitive skin can react to essential oils, botanical extracts, fragrances, active ingredients, or even commonly used natural ingredients. Patch testing is recommended.

Yes. Natural ingredients such as essential oils, citrus extracts, certain herbs, nut oils, and botanical fragrances may cause irritation or allergic reactions in some people.

Not necessarily. Product effectiveness depends on the overall formulation, concentration of active ingredients, stability, compatibility with your skin, and consistency of use. A clean label by itself does not guarantee better results.

Some products may have a shorter shelf life depending on their formulation, packaging, preservation system, and storage conditions. Always follow the expiry date and period-after-opening instructions.

Store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, excess heat, and humidity. Keep containers closed properly and avoid introducing water or unclean fingers into jars.

No. Sustainable packaging and clean formulation are separate considerations. A product may use recyclable or plastic-free packaging but still contain ingredients that do not fit a particular clean beauty standard.

Non-toxic is often used as a broad marketing term and may not have a standard definition. Rather than relying on the claim alone, review the ingredient list, intended use, concentration, safety information, and supporting evidence.

No. Ingredient names can sound complex because cosmetic labels often use standard INCI names. A difficult-to-pronounce ingredient is not automatically harmful, just as a familiar-sounding ingredient is not automatically safe.

Read the complete ingredient list, understand your skin type and concerns, review product claims critically, check relevant certifications, look for transparent brand information, and choose products based on formulation rather than marketing language alone.

“Clean” does not have one universal definition. Evaluate products based on their complete formulation, transparency, suitability for your skin, and verifiable product information.
